Mass Schedule:  Weekday Masses except Wednesday are celebrated at 4:30pm and the First Saturday Mass at 9am. Wednesday Mass is celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi, Frankford at 9:30am and Our Lady of Peace Chapel, CFB Trenton at 11:50am.

May 10, (Sat.) Welcome to Archbishop O'Brien. We are pleased to welcome Archbishop Brendan O'Brien to St. Peter's. We are grateful that he has been able to remain with us for the 5pm Mass after conferring the Sacrament of Confirmation on 60 of our young parishioners. He is also attending the Past-Grand Knights Dinner at the K of C Hall.

May 11, (Sun.) Mother's Day

May 13, (Tues.) 12:15pm Walking Alongside: the Essence of Parish Nursing, Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston.  The Pastoral Care Department of Hotel Dieu invites you to attend a public lecture and discussion on parish nursing and the need to promote healing and wholeness in faith communities.

May 13, (Tues.), 7pm Knights of Columbus General Meeting, K of C Hall. Be there for nomination and election of your new executve. Come to nominate your candidate, volunteer for a position or support your choice of candidates for the new faternal year.

May 15, (Thurs.) 7pm Children's Liturgy of the Word Meeting, Parish Centre. All those interested in helping with the children's program are encouraged to attend this meeting. There is an interest in starting Junior Liturgy again this fall - more help is needed.

May 23, (Fri.) 10am-10pm St. Paul School 3rd Annual Relay for Life, St. Paul School. Relay for Life is a 12 hour walking event to raise funds for cancer. We are opening up our special event to the Quinte West community. If you are interested in putting together a team (approximately 10 people raising $1,000), volunteering on the day or are a cancer survivor who would like to particapate in our Survivor Lap please contact Katrien (613-394-4843) or reed@alcdsb.on.ca. 

May 24 & 25 (Sat. & Sun.), MONKFEST 2008, Madoc. "The Music Event" part of Project we care. Over 20 Bands playing! This is a "no booze, no drugs, no hate, no campfires and no co-ed unless your wed" overnight music festival. There will be lots of Christian Music and Main Stream Music all with no bad language or messages. Food available to purchase on site. This is a Fund Raising Event for Foundations Youth Centres. Cost $10.00. Under 18 need parental signature and under 16 need to come with an adult...registration required. All ages welcome and adults not wanting to camp over can still come for the day. Support the Youth and our Fundraiser! Support this project that shows WE CARE!

May 25, (Sun.) 11:55am Annual Corpus Christi Procession. The Eucharistic Procession will take place following the 11am Mass. It is a twenty minute procession around the block bordered by Queen, Henry, Victoria and King Sts. For the entire parish, including altar servers, First Communion children, Confirmation youth, choirs, people in all ministries, parish groups, etc.

May 30, (Fri.) Parish Volunteers' Dinner, Knights of Columbus Hall. 6-6:45pm Cocktails; 6:45-8pm dinner; 8-9pm entertainment. All pairsh volunteers and their spouses are asked to sign up at the back of the Church or at the Parish Centre before May 26.

June 8 (Sun.) 12 noon-3pm, St. Peter's Parish Picnic, Centennial Park, Trenton.

 June 15 - 22, 2008 (Sun. - Sun.) 49th International Eucharistic Congress, Quebec City. Registrations are done on-line at www.cei2008.ca.  A cheque for $200, payale to the Archdioces of Kingston is to be sent c/o M.A. McKinnon, Archdiocese of Kingston, 390 Palace Rd., Kingston, ON K7L 4T3. A diocesan pilgrimage is als being planned. 

July 18-29, (Fri.-Sun.) Journey to the Father. St. Raphael's (Cornwall Diocese); outdoor summer conference for teens and young adults. Register early! Don't be disappointed. See www.journeytothefather.ca.
